3 Red Light Fix - Xbox 360 Fix

Were you playing a great game of Halo, only to have your Xbox 360 crash on you right in the middle of game play!? Well I've had this happen to me, and it was one of the most frustrating things! If you're a hardcore gamer and you're reading this article, most likely you are all too familiar with this.

Microsoft offers to fix your Xbox 360 if you ship it to them, but if your console is no longer under warranty, guess who'll be paying for it!? Personally, I couldn't think of a worse thing then to send my Xbox 360 away for many weeks or even months! That's valuable gaming time I'm missing, not to mention that there have been many cases where an owner gets his/her system back, only to find that the console STILL crashes! That's just not acceptable.

Luckily, there are actually a few things you can do to that may help to fix your console:

The first thing you can do is to make sure that your Xbox 360 has space to breathe. What I mean by this is to make sure that your console is far away from any heat vents or heaters that may increase the temperature of the system. Also, make sure there is nothing blocking the air intake vents on the console. The console already runs very hot to the touch, so making sure that it is well ventilated will help to cool it down, and many times can fix the problems people have with their systems crashing.

Another thing you can try is to grab a small fan or even something like a hair dryer that has a cold setting, and aim it at the vents on the side of the Xbox 360. This can not only help to cool the console, but also remove any dust that surrounds the important computer chips inside.

If neither of these things work, there are actually step-by-step, easy to follow guides all about Xbox 360 fixes.

3 Red Light Fix - Get Your Xbox Repaired, With The 3 Red Light Fix Guide

Since the Xbox 360 was released in 2005 the video game console
has been plagued with general hardware failure issues indicated
by the three red lights flashing on the console.

You may have heard of or experienced this problem yourself.
I am going to tell you about the main Xbox 360 problems people
have been experiencing and how you can solve them.

The most common problem is overheating. The console is designed
to utilize heat sinks, vented openings, and fans to aid in
dissipation of this heat.

If the airflow to the vents become obstructed
then this causes reduced system performance and hardware
failure indicated by the three red lights .

Try placing the xbox 360 console in the open and free
any debris that might be blocking the vents.

The Nyko Intercooler has also been reported to have caused
a general hardware failure in a number of consoles, as well as
scorching of the power AC input. Microsoft stated that intercooler
drains too much power from the console and can cause the faults to occur.

Another problem that is also heat related is the
GPU (Graphics Processing Unit).

When the GPU becomes very hot it causes the
motherboard to flex causing the soldering to become loose,
because the lead free solder that is used is more brittle
than the older tin/lead solder that was used in the past.

Microsoft repaired consoles under the 90 day warranty for free,
and charged $140 to repair out-of-warranty consoles.
July, 2007 Microsoft extended the warranty of all Xbox 360
consoles
suffering general hardware failures.

If you have experienced the Xbox 360 three red lights, you could
have it shipped to the repair center. Let me forewarn you that due
to the increasing number of malfunctioning consoles, you may
have to wait 4 weeks or more.

If you area Xbox 360 addict like me that is just too long to wait!

3 Red Light Fix & Why the 3 Red Lights?

It’s quite simple, really. Your Xbox 360 console gets the 3 red light error because Microsoft rushed these units into production back in the holiday season of 2005.

Because of this rush to release them to the masses, there were some shortcuts taken in the manufacturing of the console. These shortcuts are the reason you get the 3 red light error, especially if you happen to have one of the first run Xbox 360’s.

The poor manufacturing of the console is what causes your games to freeze when you are in the middle of playing them, overheating, and the infamous three red lights. The underlying cause? Overheating.

To put it bluntly, the Xbox 360 was designed and manufactured in such a way that poorly dissipates heat. This result in your Xbox 360 overheating to the point where the chips on the motherboard do not function properly, and as a result, starts to freeze your game, and ultimately leads to the 3 red light error.

The 3 Red Light Fix - repair manual is available so you can fix this problem yourself. I have used this method around 20 times or so, fixing friends units as well as purchasing broken consoles on eBay and then reselling them.

The 3 Red Light Fix manual features, step by step & easy-to-follow videos, so can can actually watch the process before you start it, and also features step by step instructions with high resolution color photos to ensure that you fix it right the first time.

Don’t search any further on you Xbox 360 problems.

This manual will tell you everything you need to know to fix it yourself. You will feel like an idiot when you see how easy it is to fix.

I have proof that it works, and rest assured the manual comes with a 2 month guarantee to get you back up and playing games, instead of searching all hours of the night trying to find out what went wrong and how to fix it.

3 Red Light Fix - BEWARE - The Xbox 360 Red Lights Towel Trick ?

If you are suffering from the xbox 360, Three Red Lights problem, you may have come across a You Tube video that shows someone placing a towel around the Xbox 360, and then after running it for some time -- they remove the towel and see a working Xbox 360 with absolutely no 3 red lights!

Why shouldn't you do this?

Well I personally have performed this Xbox 360 towel trick, and it severely damaged internal components of my Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 is just like a PC, it can overheat and damage itself.

When you put the towel around it, it messes around with the internal sensors and puts them out of range. That is why the Xbox 360 will boot after doing this trick, and will have no red lights. The Xbox 360 just thinks the sensors are out of range, and ignores them.

All I can say about this is DO NOT USE THE XBOX 360 TOWEL TRICK...

It may work for a bit, and at the expense of further messing up your console -- but you REALLY need to fix the problem at hand.

And Here is the SOLUTION, guaranteed to work!

3 Red Light Fix - Repairing Your Xbox 360 The RIGHT way

There are a few ways that people say you can fix the "3 Red Light" or "Ring Of Death" error. Most of them are wrong. Some of them can cause serious damage to your unit.

First let me start off by saying Xbox 360s and even Computer for that matter DO NOT LIKE HEAT. That is why they have fans, and heat sinks to distribute heat out. Go to any CPU vendor website and they will tell you that Severe Heat to a CPU will cause permanent damage to the processors.

Be wary of the Xbox 360 Red Lights "Towel Trick" I’ve cooked a console doing that. You may not think you are, but trust me the Towel trick breaks consoles. After doing it a few times, you get more and more lockups, until finally the console freezes non stop.

Fix It The RIGHT Way.
